This is the latest tech. to download mp3 from eSnips website. The Page is self explanatory.

Recently www.esnips.com  changed their software for playing mp3 files.  If the author doesnt give “Download” permission then downloading was very difficult. I recently got an email from my friend who suggested the following technique for download mp3 from eSnips. (This works as of date)

(eSnips doesn’t allow copyrighted audio files to be uploaded to their server.)

Here is an example

Copy the URL to Notepad  (the url you see when playing the audio clip)

http://www.esnips.com/doc/9cef91f8-931b-4815-8d22-4e320e26a6c3/Audio-Book—Brian-Tracy—How-to-Succeed-by-Really-Trying

Change /doc/ to /nsdoc/

Now URL becomes

http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/9cef91f8-931b-4815-8d22-4e320e26a6c3/Audio-Book—Brian-Tracy—How-to-Succeed-by-Really-Trying

Now remove the Mp3 file Name

Add the following (ts_id/1205795172796/ns_flash/file1.mp3)

Copy this URL to your browser (Firefox) or download agent software.

(If you try this on Internet Explorer then it might download it to temporary folder and play from it.)

PS:

When I get urls of these kind, I copy them to WORD document.

Save the file as HTML file.

Then open the HTML file in Internet Explorer and Right Click on the URL and select “Save Target As”

Bingo !! Mp3 is ready …
